Classic or Edgy? Black and White.

     One of my absolute favorite combinations is black and white.  I thought it was the best idea to write about something that fits my blog perfectly.  The idea of my blog is classic meets edge.
     When you first think of black and white, what comes to mind? For me, its all the classics.  I think of the elegance of black and white movies,  I think of the classic actress Audrey Hepburn, I think of my favorite designer; CHANEL.  All these black and white inspirations are beautiful in the classic sense.
      Although Black and White doesn't just have to be classic beauty, Black and white also can be edgy.  I think about Grease.  One of my all time favorite movies.  I think Sandy at the end in her black leather pants and black jacket.  So incredibly beautiful in an offbeat kind of way.  I think of John Travolta in his dark jeans and white t-shirt, topped off with a hardcore leather jacket.
      I also think about ways you can bring edge to something classic - with black and white.  An elegant white dress, with a motorcycle leather jacket.  It brings the soft and hard together, making the perfect combination.
     White and Black is perfect for any kind of style.  Whether your wearing a classic LBD or a white tee and tough leather jacket; black and white is timeless.  Hopefully you've learned why I love black and white so much and hopefully it will inspire you!
